  Renault is one of the most well-known car manufacturers. It is part of the Renault-Nissan alliance, which has become the largest in the world. Today, 43% of the shares are owned by the French government, 15% by Nissan. Its headquarters are in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. In 2017, the volume of sales of cars of the alliance reached 10.6 million units.  The current Renault range includes a variety of car types and classes. According to the results of a survey of Ukrainian motorists the most popular brand became Renault Dokker. The most popular in Russia, in 2018, is the SUV Renault Duster.  Renault auto parts are counterfeited by unscrupulous manufacturers who want to take advantage of the brand's popularity. Typical signs of counterfeiting are packaging of loose polyethylene with poor welding, the lack of printing of the country of the manufacturer, poor quality printing, the lack of factory marking, insufficient equipment. The sign of a fake is a poor quality of performance, a clear discrepancy of the part to the original.
