Description:
Haldex coupling filter AIC 57986 (4th generation) is an important component of the four-wheel drive (4WD) system of many modern cars equipped with a Haldex clutch.
It is responsible for cleaning the hydraulic fluid used to activate the clutch and transfer torque from the transmission to the rear axle.
This guarantees smooth operation of the clutch, improves traction and dynamic characteristics of the car.
The importance of using a quality Haldex clutch filter:
1. Contaminated hydraulic fluid can cause wear and damage to the Haldex coupling, which can lead to costly repairs.
2. A clean filter guarantees smooth operation of the coupling, without vibrations and noises.
3. With a clean filter, the Haldex clutch can transmit maximum torque, providing better traction on slippery or uneven roads.
Recommendations for using the Haldex clutch filter:
1. Always use the original Haldex clutch filter recommended by your vehicle manufacturer. Original filters guarantee the best quality and compatibility with the 4WD system.
2. Change the Haldex coupling filter regularly, according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Usually, it is recommended to do it every 20,000 - 40,000 km, or more often if you drive in heavily polluted or off-road conditions.
3. It is recommended to change the filter of the Haldex clutch at an authorized service center, where qualified mechanics can not only replace the filter, but also check the condition of the clutch and the hydraulic system.
